Our retreat home is located in Obidos, a small authentic village in the east of Portugal, surrounded by nature and perfect for those looking to slow down and be inspired.
Escaping the touristic hubs, our home is offering charming spaces and hidden nooks to get together or retreat and dream. All rooms are shared with private bathrooms, created with love to detail and to embrace the slow life.
Even though it'll be tempting to stay around our house, you'll have plenty of time to explore our surroundings. With stunning nature to walk and hike through, the town of Obidos with local markets close by and the beach in only 15-minutes-drive-distance you can discover more about the area during your week with us.
Meet Marleen, our passionate Yoga teacher, surfer, nature lover and happy soul. As a lawyer, she left her hometown in Germany six years ago, travelled the world as a Yoga teacher to share her passion for Yoga and found her home away from home in topical Sri Lanka.

Thus, my classes are all about you, connecting to yourself, listening and being surprised by the little sweet joys that your Yoga practice can bring to both your body and mind.
In our week, I am excited to be guiding you through various juicy Vinyasa Flows, combining a strong physical practice with intentional mindfulness meditations, a variety of breathing techniques (Pranayama), deep stretches and pure relaxation. In our restorative classes, we are going to embrace slowing down, letting go and allowing yourself to simply be. Our workshops are inviting you to explore techniques and tools to keep creating a space for yourself, even when your day-to-day-life has you back, and thereby creating a sustainable, fun change in your daily routines and lifestyle."

Food is life and life at the casa is "tudo bem", so we are looking forward to treating you with freshly made, delicious and nutritious meals and snacks, focussing on freshness, sustainability and great taste.
Out of love and care for health and sustainability of both community and planet, we are supplying as many ingredients as we can from the local market in Obidos, focussing on seasonal produce, supporting local businesses and thereby hoping to make a little change by protecting nature and giving back to the community we are gratefully part of.

Transfer from the airport
Extra meals whilst being out of our home
(We are happy to assist you in booking your transfer from the airport and will set up a Whatsapp group closer to the retreat to help arranging shared transfers)

Kind reminder : Please note that a non-refundable deposit of 35% will be payable upon booking with a further 35% due by 1st September 2022 and the remaining balance to be paid 2 weeks before the retreat starts. If cancellations are made within two weeks of the retreat starting, no refund is possible on the balance either.
